Hotel da Graciosa

The staff at the Inatel were very professional. Offering suggestions on where to eat and how to best get around. As we did not speak Portuguese, everyone spoke English and assisted us with the many questions we had. We were told of a taxi who would take us on a tour, as we wanted to experience and see the island of Graciosa. What spectacular views and the driver Sonia was so knowledgeable about the many sights and sounds we heard. Our room was spotless, and although there were four of us, they enough linens and pillows for us to sleep on. The Breakfast was more than adequate, in fact it was our favourite. The variety of fruits, cereals, juices and not to mention the coffee. Wow! we had so much to choose from. The cheese and bread was exactly how it was previously described to us. I must also mention that the two waitresses performed their duties with pride and most important a smile. As we had travelled from Bermuda, they like others were curious as to which country we came from. How pleasant the ladies were and very kind. I will admit, that our children enjoyed the pool, and us as adults, loved the views, animals and the broad walk. Inatel management had taken great lengths to see that our stay was enjoyable and without incident. Thank you ! and well done Inatel, I will be recommending this hotel to our family and friends. The property has beautiful views by the sea, the exterior looks really modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Decent hotel on the island with a rather large room capacity. Clean rooms. Nice location close to the beach with a lot of parking space. Good breakfast.

Great location with beautiful views of the ocean and easy walk to downtown Santa Cruz.
